Local heart charity HeartSWell South West is looking for people to take to the sky and jump 10,000ft from a plane to raise money for heart patients and lifesaving equipment in the Westcountry.
The 10,000ft tandem skydive can be completed in several different locations across the UK, the nearest centre being the Honiton Dropzone in Devon.
On Sunday 17 April 2016, 35 brave members of staff at Derriford Hospital will be standing at the edge of an open doorway, in an aircraft flying at 15,000 feet, waiting to dive through the air at over 120mph, whilst raising money and supporting the Gold Dust Appeal.

The Rotary Club of Plympton are organising a Teddy Bear Parachute jump in aid of various charities supported by the Rotary club on Saturday 1 June, and are asking people if they own a teddy brave enough to take part.
The Devon & Somerset Fire Service will be launching the brave teddies from one of their hydraulic platform devices.
