The sun has started to make a bit of an appearance here in Devon lately, and it couldn't have come at a better time. This week is Sun Awareness week, in which the public are asked to be aware of the sun and the damage it can potentially do to their skin.
Handmade cosmetics company Lush have come to the rescue with their British Nanny facial moisturiser containing SPF30.
Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust Skin Cancer Team will be holding a ‘Sun Awareness’ display in the main reception of Derriford Hospital on Wednesday 1 May between 10am and 2pm for Sun Awareness Week (6 – 12 May).
Staff from the local Cancer Awareness and Screening Project will be on hand to give advice and information on how to enjoy the sunshine without causing skin damage.
