Police in Plymouth are appealing for witnesses after a dog walker was attacked in the Manadon area of the city.

Between 2.45am and 3.15am on Sunday 1 September 1 2013, the male victim was walking with his German Shepherd dog on St Peter’s road near the junction of Vanguard Close when a blue, Jaguar estate taxi pulled up alongside him.

Police appeal following gang assault on three teenagers in the city

Police in Plymouth are appealing for witnesses after two teenagers were attacked in the Southway Drive area of the city on Saturday (31 August).

At around 9.30pm, three teenage males aged between 17 and 18 years were walking from Frontfield Crescent to Southway Drive when two of them were shouted at and attacked by a large group of ten to 12 people aged between 17 and 20 years....

Police appeal following theft of power tools from city DIY store

Police in Plymouth are appealing for the public’s help to identify a woman suspected of stealing power tools from a DIY store in the city.

Some time between 7pm and 7.25pm on Tuesday 23 July 2013, the woman was seen in the Homebase store on Montpelier Road.

Staff at the store challenged the woman before she left, but she still escaped with around £300 of Stanley power drills...

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man not seen since Wednesday 31 July 31 2013.

Daniel Farrier, aged 24, from Plymouth, is currently of no fixed abode, but may still be in the Plymouth area.

Police search for absconded prisoner centres on Plymouth

A search is underway for a man who has absconded from HMP Leyhill in Gloucestershire. Police report that enquiries have traced him to the Plymouth area.

Wayne Richard Head, aged 35, was last seen in Leyhill prison at 5.30am on Monday (2 September) and was reported missing a few hours later. He is serving an indeterminate sentence for a robbery committed in 2007.
